The summer heat can be harsh on your dog’s skin and coat. In addition to heat, bugs and other pests such as mosquitoes, gnats, and ticks can irritate your dog's skin causing itching and hives.
Aside from pests, allergies and hot spots are other known culprits that lead to excessive itching. If you see your dog constantly itching, licking, or chewing his coat, this may be a symptom of dry skin. Using a goat milk soap for your dog provides moisture to alleviate symptoms of dry irritated skin.

Directions:
Using a bar of soap to wash your dog is much easier and less messy than using liquid soap. Simply rub the bar on your dog's wet coat to make a lather. Massage the shampoo soap bar deep into your dog's coat and rinse thoroughly to prevent dried soap hair. Rub your pooch down with a clean, dry towel.
